Reflections on a week on earth
For the last three days I have received calls from people whose family members are missing in Nepal.
Last night I watched Werner Herzog’s ‘Ghost Elephants’.
Devastating, awe inspiring. All. To be alive and to feel.
We humans have heard forever that the soul lives in the body. My experience is that the body lives in the soul. The soul is expansive…more than expansive…how can it be ‘boundaried’ into a body? Our knee bending agonies, our victories and blessings, our loves…all to expand our souls…to heal what needs to be healed, to teach us what we need to learn, for not just the ‘greater good’ but the ‘supreme good’.
In between dealing with the ‘whatevers’, may we submerge ourselves in the beauty of earth, the body, the human experience, the wonder of it all…and let fall colors and light dance and play through us.
