Yesterday a stroll.
And what did I see?
An ethereal image of three graceful Persian women draped in shimmering silks and carrying woven baskets, chatting and chuckling together with anticipatory warmth.
A brown skinned woman and her handsome bearded husband, carressing and cooing over a new born baby.
A white haired man sitting alone on a bench, sleeping bag and bundles underneath him, staring out to sea with tear filled eyes.
A spotted great dane puppy carreening into bushes and leapoing over smaller dogs, ecstatically chasing a ball.
A young man, baby on board in a front snuggly, spreading a blanket and talking to the baby matter of factly.
Two elderly women with matching curly haired small white yippy dogs, heads together chatting and sharing images on their phones.
And the rose bushes are reaching for the sky, buds incubating, and more rain in on its way.
And today….in a few minutes….spring!
